Description: With the use of AI / ML and IOT, AIROI uses a host of parameters such as weather data, sunrise and sunset time, traffic movement, visibility, etc to advise the utility on the optimum brightness. This use of ‘dimming’ helps in reducing the power consumption and thereby generates carbon credits. The carbon credits are monetized and can be used by the utility to further expand the use of smart street lights, in the geography.
This practice of using AI & ML to generate carbon credits in Street Lights is a new concept and utilities across the world, are now seeing merit in opting for AIROI’s Smart Street Light Analytics.
