Through the project activity, soil capacity to sequester Carbon from the atmosphere is enhanced by using a crucial technique like- use of organic fertilizers from crop residue and efficient use of Crop residue and vegetation waste. Such farming practices improve soil fertility. This not only leads to good soil health and water holding capacity but enriches the soil both below and above the ground. Such transformation in farming practices lead to good output in terms of high yield and production, resilient soil and financial stability which can provide long term benefits if consistently practiced. Stubble burning, a major issue today that contributes in increase in GHG emissions is a very common and conventional method whereas here in the project activity, an eco-friendly solution to waste accumulation is created. Bio-char made from the crop residue not only creates a good quality and exceptional performance but saves the atmosphere from GHG emissions.
Through the project green jobs and skillful workforce is created bringing about transformation in the Agriculture sector.Such sustainable agricultural practices create regional economic security and growth.
