Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Inappropriate disposal of plastic waste poses significant challenges and impacts today. Plastic waste pollutes land, rivers, and oceans, leading to widespread contamination. Animals ingest plastic or become entangled in it, leading to injury or death. Micro plastics in water and food sources pose potential health risks to humans. Inadequate infrastructure for plastic recycling and waste management exacerbates the problem. Plastic disrupts habitats and can cause long-term damage to ecosystems. Species are threatened by plastic pollution, leading to declines in biodiversity.
Plastic production and degradation release greenhouse gases, contributing to climate change. Overall, the inappropriate disposal of plastic waste poses severe environmental, health, and economic challenges that require urgent and coordinated action.
This project goes beyond climate change mitigation by putting in efforts into collection of Plastic waste, category wise plastic segregation and further more ensuring the appropriate recycling of the Plastic waste ending the plastic life cycle.
Through such practices, the waste is diverted from entering the Landfills that harms the ecosystems, human life and the climate. Practices followed by the project in this informal sector has enabled in bringing transparency and accountability in the value chain right from the source of the plastic waste which has created awareness in the masses and sense of responsibility.
Operate Thinking Buildings that are Sustainable
Our Smart Building System Platform revolutionizes traditional building management by leveraging advanced technologies to optimize efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort. This platform integrates IoT (Internet of Things) devices, sensors, and AI (Artificial Intelligence) algorithms to collect, analyze, and act upon real-time data from various building systems. By monitoring parameters like energy usage, occupancy patterns, and environmental conditions, the platform enables intelligent control of HVAC, lighting, security, and other critical systems.
Through predictive analytics, the platform can anticipate maintenance needs, reducing downtime and extending equipment lifespan. Occupants benefit from personalized experiences, with automated adjustments to lighting, temperature, and ventilation based on individual preferences and usage patterns. Enhanced safety features, such as real-time surveillance and emergency response systems, further contribute to a secure and responsive building environment.
Overall, our Smart Building System Platform empowers facility managers to make data-driven decisions for optimal resource allocation and sustainability. By harnessing the potential of interconnected technologies, these platforms pave the way for smarter, greener, and more efficient buildings that adapt to evolving needs and environmental challenges.
