Aiming for Net Zero by 2030
SOALTEE Kathmandu has embarked on an ambitious journey to become a Net Zero Hotel by 2030 through a strategic partnership with AIROI INC. This collaboration leverages AIROI’s cutting-edge sustainability platform to meticulously monitor, trace, and reduce carbon emissions across SOALTEE’s entire hotel operations, setting a new benchmark for sustainable hospitality in the region.
The initiative introduces innovative water credits that reward responsible water management practices, enhancing resource efficiency alongside comprehensive environmental stewardship. Integrating data-driven ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) practices and tracking Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, SOALTEE Kathmandu demonstrates measurable, real-time progress towards carbon neutrality.
Harnessing blockchain-enabled transparency and continuous real-time reporting, this sustainability effort ensures accountable and verifiable climate impact. SOALTEE Kathmandu’s visionary roadmap toward net zero emissions reflects their commitment to inspiring the hospitality sector with robust and scalable climate action.
Our experience is rooted in practice. In Nepal, we’ve partnered with leading 5-star hotel chains to optimize energy use with IoT, recycle wastewater, convert food waste into compost, and monetize carbon credits—achieving measurable ROI alongside climate benefits.
