Airoi CEO Badri Meets Albanian PM Edi Rama to Advance Climate Infrastructure Partnership
Airoi CEO Badri met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in Tirana to discuss the company’s climate infrastructure initiatives in the country, alongside Indian Ambassador Ravindra Prasad Jaiswal and Ashwani Chopra. The meeting brought together US climate technology, India–Albania diplomatic ties, and opportunities for the Indian film industry to use Albania’s landscapes for production.
For Airoi, the discussions centered on its US-engineered solutions for the region’s sustainable future. The company said its Green Bond Framework recently secured a Sustainability Quality Score of SQS2 from Moody’s, and that it has formalized agreements with more than 10 Albanian municipalities for nature-based solutions and four for waste-to-energy projects. Airoi added that it is leveraging NASA Earth Observation datasets, including GEDI and SWOT, for data-backed monitoring of its climate assets, as it moves toward closing its first multi-million-dollar funding tranche.
Our experience is rooted in practice. In Nepal, we’ve partnered with leading 5-star hotel chains to optimize energy use with IoT, recycle wastewater, convert food waste into compost, and monetize carbon credits—achieving measurable ROI alongside climate benefits.
